The mission of the Eastern Long Island Jewish AllianceELIJA – is to foster a vibrant and all inclusive Jewish community by promoting connections and enhancing relationships among Suffolk County Jewish organizations and agencies.

The Eastern Long Island Jewish Alliance includes at least 40 organizations including synagogues from all ranges of Judaism, cultural organizations and Jewish camps.  The formation of our organization is an unusual effort, in part because it brings together both Jewish lay and religious leaders ELIJA hopes to provide a place for all of the Jews of Suffolk County to come together regardless of their level of religious practice and whether affiliated with and/or not affiliated with any specific organization.
